What is Gormless?

A dictionary definition for the word gormless: adjective, chiefly British, meaning "lacking intelligence" or "stupid"

Gormless is a website founded by me, goofpunk. Technically, it's a shared blog, running on Ghost,[1] but in effect it's just a place for my friends and I to host and post whatever we feel like, without having to worry about social media platforms and their tendency to crack down on weird queer artists, and without each person having to figure out web hosting themselves.

My biggest inspiration for this website is Progressive Boink,[2] a website that ran in the 00s, and then again for a bit in the early 10s, as well as the general trend of everything/nothing sites that were fairly popular before blogging became a Big Deal (and then died, of course). I'm primarily a writer, but I have friends contributing who run the gamut from poets, to musicians, to game developers, to furry pornographers.[3] Literally anything me and my friends are interested in posting will show up here.
